For the first time since 2019, Nowata Ironmen football is in the playoffs as they travel to Owasso to face 9-1 Rejoice Christian in the first round of the A-1 playoffs. Nowata comes into the post-season 3-7 overall and earned the 4th seed out of District 3 after going 3-4 in district play. Nowata comes into the postseason with three straight losses after starting 3-0 in district play, but Ironmen head coach says that even though it wasn't pretty, he's proud of his team and looks forward to the opportunity.

Nowata's opponent Rejoice Christian has been a State Title Contender all season long, and at 9-1 overall and 7-0 in District play remain a favorite to win it all this fall. Juby knows Rejoice Christian is arguably the best team they have faced so far this year, but also has confidence in his team.
